 Following the launch of the new Marchmont News, we've bolted on even more features to give you even more reasons to keep returning.
We've just launched 4 new features:
- news updates: revisiting stories we recently covered to shed light on new information or see what the state of play is (when posted, these appear in the day's body of news, like features)
- financial results archive: now you can access all the financial results we ever published and search by your terms (results).
- appointments archive: like the results archive, a total history of our appointments reporting (click here).
- new artricultural news section: our journalists and the stories they cover made it clear we needed a dedicated sector for agricultural news (click here).
With our latest statistics showing 1.5 million hits a month, we think we're on the right track. But there's plenty more to come...

For a month we've been trialling our new site, which we reckon is cleaner and easier to use than ever. But it just got better.
Added today, Tuesday 20th Jan:
- Widened news coverage: we have now added the Far East and North West federal districts to our coverage, allowing us to give you 23-25 stories a day, up from 18!
- News archive: Been away? Lived in a cave this last month? Catch up with our news archive, boasting some 5000+ stories since April 2007!
- More features and updates: We've doubled the size of our news team, which means not only more news stories but also more features and in-depth updates on key stories
Not that we're complacent - we plan to introduce more services and products early 2009. Coming soon:
- Project Central: a one-stop-shop directory of regional projects and activity
- More appointments and results: currently these live on the right of the homepage, but soon they'll have their own page where you search and browse them
- More benefits for registered users (sign up free)
Along with being the online resource for regional Russian business news, we feel we have the most versatile news site on the net - with news by date, region, sector, specific town, custom news page, e-mail alerts or custom RSS.
