The country strives to become modern and innovative place with favorable conditions for local companies which will be set up on the basis of entrepreneurial culture and will be able to compete on the global market. That is why creation and functioning of communication platforms, where government, businesses and science community could find common ground for developing consolidated decisions, is very important.

Having a wide experience in holding business forums and conferences we are happy to present new series of Business Leaders Investment Forums “Innovation For Business” in 2011.

Regional 2-days Forum «Innovation for Business» will unite business leaders, entrepreneurs, representatives of the political elite, business angels, investors, scientists and specialists of international companies in order to initiate a dialogue on the mechanisms that can be used to increase the investment attractiveness and modernizing the economy of the region.

The program aims to motivate local industrialists, businessmen, venture investors and innovators to cooperate in searching of commercially viable projects. One of the key goals of Investment Forums is to promote Proof of Concept Centers in the network of regional innovation clusters and communication with Russian Venture Company and business angels.

Exchange of opinions within the forums’ framework helps to reveal the innovation potential of Russian regions, form zones of leading economic growth and give a new impulse to science cities. On top of that business will be further sensitized to the expediency of investing in innovation, and developers of innovation projects will get the knowledge of effective investment-raising tools. Collaborative efforts of government, science, innovation entrepreneurs and investors can give effective and comprehensive answers to the today’s’ challenges.

The first day of the Forum aims at business and political elite representatives. The main topics for discussion will be problems of investing in innovation, using innovation technologies in business processes, innovation infrastructure development strategies, mechanisms of creating innovation systems and innovation clusters in regions.

The second day of the Forum aims at entrepreneurs and scientific community representatives. During the Forum there will be discussed questions of promoting innovation ideas, initiating a dialogue between science, business representatives and innovators, and also ways of innovative ideas’ commercialization. Within the second day of forums’ framework there will be an exhibition where innovators will have an opportunity to present their ideas and meet with representatives of innovation projects support funds.
