Leo
Berent is a Director of Credit Suisse and has 7 years of investment
banking experience in Capital Markets. During his time with the
bank Mr. Berent has actively participated in the sale & distribution
of several landmark Russian equity transactions including Evraz,
Sistema and Sberbank. Since January 2006 Mr. Berent has been
advising clients in Russia & the CIS on structured investment
banking transactions including private equity placements, asset
backed lending, multiple asset class structured finance, hedge
fund derivatives and commodity/FX hedging. Mr Berent holds a
Masters in Mechanical Engineering (Specializing in Medical Robotics)
from Imperial College of Science & Technology in London.
Nicholas Denny, Credit Suisse
Nicholas Denny is Vice-President at Credit Suisse Moscow where he is responsible for developing the bank’s business with Russian entrepreneurs. Mr. Denny previously worked for Deutsche Bank Asset Management in Geneva, Munich and Frankfurt where he was involved in developing the bank’s strategy for Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Denny worked for several years in New York in the venture sector.
Mr. Denny holds a B.A. from University College London and earned his MBA at London Business School.
Jon Edwards, London

Jon
Edwards is responsible for developing the London Stock Exchange's
business in Russia and the CIS. Mr. Edwards has been
working to promote both Main Market and AIM to Russian
and CIS companies and advisors.
One aspect of his work is facilitating communication
between the City investment community and the CIS countries.
Mr. Edwards is a frequent traveller to Russia,
Kazakhstan and Ukraine and has also organized conferences in London
to promote CIS companies to the investor community
in the UK.
Mr. Edwards studied at Columbia University where he received
his BA degree in Russian studies and joint JD/MBA degree
in business and law. He joined the London Stock Exchange
in August 2003, before which he worked on private
equity transactions for Incepta Ventures UK Limited, Delta
Capital and BNP-Invest. Mr. Edwards has more than ten years
of experience working with CIS companies in the natural
resources, consumer products, real estate and TMT sectors.
Simon Whitehead, College
Hill
Simon Whitehead has advised many companies from emerging markets, particularly from Russia and the CIS, on their communications strategy and execution. Recent work in the CIS includes handling the financial PR for Landkom, the AIM-listed Ukrainian wheat and oil see rape producer, and the communications around the $5 billion GDR listing of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, the Russian Black Sea Port. Simon joined College Hill after working for a global agency for five years where he was director of emerging markets and managed its Russian and CIS business across Europe. Previously, Simon spent seven years in international banking and in the LBO team at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, which included two years managing the office in Moscow.
Simon graduated in Classics from Cambridge University, has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Now based in London, Simon was born in the US and has lived in Russia, Japan and Germany. He speaks intermediate Russian and German
Zlata Gagarina, Credit

Zlata
joined Credit Suisse in 2004 as a senior advisor on corporate
finance transactions. Since joining the bank she has worked on
Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Placements, Strategic Partnerships
and Monetization Strategies across a broad range of industries
and with a particular geographical focus on the CIS. Prior to
joining Credit Suisse, Zlata worked for nine years in financial
advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Zurich and Kiev, and The
Corporate Finance Group, a boutique M&A house in Zurich.
She holds Master Degree in Finance & Credit from the National
Academy of Management, Kiev, Ukraine and is also a Chartered
Certified Accountant (ACCA, UK) and Chartered Financial Analyst
(CFA).
Ildiko Gergely, Clyde & Co
Ildiko
is qualified Hungarian and English lawyer and was admitted as
a solicitor in 2003. She has been at Clyde & Co for over
three years having previously worked at a law firm associated
with KPMG and as an independent adviser to various international
organisations. Her relevant corporate finance experience includes
advising over 20 international (including Russian, CIS, North
and South Americas, African and UK) companies on private equity
investments, pre-IPO fund-raising, IPOs, convertible bond and
loan note investments and group reorganisations, assisting both
companies and financial advisers as well as advising on various
cross-border and UK M&A transactions.
Ralph Guyot, Credit

Ralph E. Guyot is managing director and the regional head for
Russia, Central Asia and the Ukraine at Credit Suisse in Zurich.
He has been with the bank for more than 20 years and has served
in various senior executive positions in corporate & structured
finance, investment banking, hedge funds and asset management.
He recently rejoined the Credit Suisse after working for six
years with a Hedge Fund where he was partner and Principal. Mr.
Guyot is an emerging markets specialist and has been involved
in Eastern Europe since 1990, establishing Credit Suisse’s
first rep office in Russia in 1991.
Sergey Karpekin, Siberian

Sergey
Karpekin has been the Managing Director of the Siberian Juridical
Company since its founding in 1995. Before that, he worked for
the administration of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the
Russian President in the Novosibirsk Region, where he was responsible
for legal oversight of the privatization of government & municipal
property. Mr. Karpekin specializes in corporate law with a particular
focus on legal support for investors in the Siberian region.
In this capacity, Mr. Karpekin has advised companies such as
MARS LLC, Harry’s/Dan Cake, Wympelcom (Beeline), Wimm-Bill-Dann,
SibLitMash, British American Tobacco and Sibirsky Gurman.
Sergey Karpekin received his law degree from the Academy of State Service with
specialization in the legal support of state service, and later qualified in
civil law at the Moscow State Law Academy.
Edward V. Kokorev, Aurora

Edward
Kokorev is Managing Director of Aurora Finance, an independent
investment agency specializing in private and public equity placements.
Among his agency’s recent transactions are a $10m private
placement of shares in Elecsnet Group, as well as an advisory
role to the board of Polymetal during its 2007 IPO on the LSE,
MICEX and RTS. Before founding Aurora Finance in 2004, Mr. Kokorev
served as Director of Investment Banking Coverage at Trust Investment
Bank in Moscow. From 1998 until 2001, Mr. Kokorev worked as an
investment banking associate at Goldman Sachs in New York, and
later as an Investment Manager with Goldman Sachs in Zurich.
Mr. Kokorev holds an MS in Applied Mathematics from Novosibirsk
State University and earned his MBA from The Wharton School of
Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Anna Korjova, Credit

Anna
Korjova is Vice President at Credit Suisse Moscow and has 8 years
of investment banking experience. Anna advises Russian companies
on both private equity and public capital raisings on the London
Stock Exchange and Russian stock exchanges and guides clients
through all the stages of transactions. Over the course of her
career she has been involved in a number of M&A and Debt
transactions in both Russia and abroad. Prior to joining Credit
Suisse, Anna worked as an Equity Capital Markets specialist at
Merrill Lynch where she was involved in the execution of equity
offerings. She started her career in investment banking as an
analyst with Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, later moving
to UBS and then MDM’s Moscow-based investment banking team.
Anna holds a BA degree in Finance with distinction from the Southern
Methodist University (USA).

Anna Kozina has been an Investment Director at Baring Vostok Capital Partners since 2002. Before joining Baring Vostok, Anna led business development projects for Ford Telematics Division in the UK and Germany. Prior to this, Anna worked as a senior investment manager at Alfa Capital and was responsible for the development and implementation of project exit strategies. Anna also worked as a consultant at Bain & Company in Moscow where she was engaged in privatization projects. Anna graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Management and earned her MBA at London Business School.
Alexander Lupachev, Delta Private Equity Partners
Alexander Lupachev, Vice President of Delta Private Equity Partners, manages early stage investments in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. He serves on the Boards of several portfolio business including Netville, an internet service provider, and Novy Vybor, a cable TV production company. Prior to joining Delta Private Equity, Mr. Lupachev worked as investment director at Access Industries, a large diversified investment group, where he was actively involved in building successful media businesses such as Amedia and Media City. He also held management positions at Allianz / Deutscher Investment Trust and Accenture. Mr. Lupachev holds a BA in international business with Honors from Moscow Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and MBA from Harvard Business School in Boston.
Denis Pryanichnikov
Denis Pryanichnikov is Head of the Center for Issuer Relations at the MICEX Stock
Exchange. He has 8 years experience in financial services and worked for several
of Russia's largest financial services companies including "Kapital Asset Management",
"Alfa bank" and OJSC "Otkrytie Brokerage House". Mr. Pryanichikov has a
PhD in Economics and holds FFMS Certificates 1.0, 2.0.

is General Director of Baker Tilly Russaudit Ltd. He graduated
from Volzhsk State Academy of Water Transport, Department of
Bookkeeping and Analysis of Financial Statements. From 1997 to
1998 trained in the course of controlling in the university “Fachhochshule”(Köln).
In 1995 he began his career as a financial consultant in Russaudit
- Nizhny Novgorod. During 1999 he worked in the Department of
Controlling and Consolidated statements of CargoLifter AG (Frankfurt-on-Maine).
In the same year he began his work as a Senior specialist of
International Projects Department in RUSSAUDIT Dornhof, Evseev
and Partners Ltd (at present Baker Tilly Russaudit), becoming
the Head of that department in 2001. General Director of Baker
Tilly Russaudit since 2004. Awarded with ACCA Diploma in International
Financial Reporting Standards –ACCA DipIFR. Holds corporate

Dmitry Vasyutinsky,

Dmitry Vasyutinsky is Managing Director of alternative investments at Allianz ROSNO Asset Management. Since joining Allianz ROSNO in 2004, Mr. Vasyutinsky has played a key role in building the firm's alternative investments business including venture capital funds, real estate, and private equity. In 2006 he led the team that successfully launched Russia's first public-private venture capital fund combining private and government funding and continues to be directly involved in its management.
Mr. Vasyutinsky has 17 years of investment management experience in private equity, real estate and venture capital. He previously held senior positions at Jones Lang Lasalle and Redwing Ltd. Mr Vasyutinsky holds a degree in Economics from the People's Friendship University of Russia and received his Sloan Masters degree in management from London Business School. He serves on the boards of TViGO Entertainment, Mobile Innovations, Microbor and Legos and is a frequent speaker at investment conferences as well as an active promoter of alternative investments in Russia.
Kendrick White, Marchmont

Prior
to arriving in Russia in 1992, Mr White worked for seven years
at ABN-Amro Bank in Chicago (IL). Between 1995 and 1998 Mr White
worked in Corporate Finance at PWC where he was responsible for
advising the Russian Privatization Center (RPC) on the creation
of a professional services advisory firm focused on post privatization
restructuring and advising enterprises on private equity finance
raising. From 1998 to 2005 Mr White was the Director of the Quadriga
Central Russia Regional Venture Fund (RVF), a private equity
fund financed by the EBRD and German KfW. The RVF implemented
numerous successful investment projects, including Nizhpharm,
now part of the Stada Group, Bridgetown Foods, Multiflex packaging
and many others. Mr White created the company Marchmont Capital
Partners in 2005 and resides in the city of Nizhny Novgorod.
Mr. White received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of
Management, at Northwestern University.
Charles White-Thomson, Credit Suisse
Charles White-Thomson is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking division, based in Moscow. Mr. White-Thomson is responsible for the Equities franchise in Russia. Prior to this, he was responsible for sales and sales trading for the EEMEA business, and was Equity Country Manager for the Nordic Region. Mr. White-Thomson joined Credit Suisse First Boston through the acquisition of Donaldson, Lufkin, Jenrette in 2000. Prior to that, Mr White-Thomson worked for ING Barings Securities in Emerging European equities. Before joining ING Barings, Mr. White-Thomson served with the British Army between 1989 and 1994, during which he saw active service in Gulf War. Mr. White-Thomson was educated at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
