Construction of two tourist complexes worth a total of $400m is due to start this year in Adygeya, a republic not far from the Krasnodar Region’s city of Sochi, the regional officials have said.
Vladimir Petrov, Chairman of regional Committee on Tourism and Resorts, has told the media that the Oshten ski center to be built on a 40-hectar site will have a mountain-ski track, five hotels, and several elevators.
The 180-hectar Hudzhokh recreational center is projected to have several hotels, business centers, restaurants, malls, parking lots, spa-salons, cinemas, and other recreation facilities.
Mr. Petrov has added that private Russian and foreign investors will participate in the project. However, he has declined to specify companies involved or project timeframes set.
