Transnefteproduct to pay $775m to reach the Black Sea
Moscow-based oil transporter Transnefteproduct plans to invest $775m in construction of a petroleum product pipeline from the Samara Region’s Syzran via Saratov and Volgograd to the Black Sea coast, Interfax reports.
The pipeline is expected to be around 1,560 kilometers long and have the capacity of eight million tons a year.
Under an agreement with Transnefteproduct the Krasnodar regional authorities are already selecting sites for the final stage of the prospective construction, which is to be completed within the next four years.
