Lipetsk retailer Rosinka, having merged with Belgorod region grocery chain Proviant, has announced plans to invest $3m in rebranding and restart of Proviant’s 24 stores in Voronezh.
The Marchmont wrote about the merging earlier (see news of May 28, 2009).
Rosinka reportedly took over Proviant’s 24 stores in Voronezh and after the rebranding, the stores will be operating under Rosinka name.
Proviant chain includes 110 grocery supermarkets and smaller stores in Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk and Smolensk regions.
Rosinka is a producer of alcohol and soft drinks, and also controls 15 supermarkets and discounter stores in Lipetsk region.
